Kings Heath Traditional Song Project

Song workshops led by Miriam Ayling

An opportunity for singers to work on traditional songs, repertoire, style and performance skills, building on performances at the monthly traditional song sessions

These took place at the Kitchen Garden Cafe, York Road, Birmingham B14 7SA map

Thursdays 19 March, 16 April, 21 May, 16 July
Thursdays 17 Sept, 19 Nov and 21 January

The project also included three all-day workshops:
22 February with Sandra Kerr
28 June with Lauren McCormick
18 October with Sam Lee

The activity led up to a final concert on Sunday 24 January 2010
The project was funded by Awards for All England
